Smartparts Digital Picture Frame

Meet the largest digital picture frame with Wi-Fi capability, introduced at Photokina 2008. We had the pleasure to discover it at the beginning of this year when it was unveiled during PMA 2008 photo trade show.
The new Smartparts digital picture frame measures 32 inches in diagonal and is framed in natural wood with espresso finish and museum quality beige mat. It fits any room environment, thanks to the warm look that gives the impression it is a real painting. Based on this idea, the Smartparts SP3200WF model maintains a natural aspect of the interior, without adding that tech look, which risks reducing the feeling of comfort and relaxation.

It features wireless connectivity, High Definition resolution, and support for the Windows Live Photo Gallery application, through which you can share pictures online with friends, or directly on the frame. For this it requires a simple setup for connecting to a wireless router, with no need for encryption key.
With the OptiPix Pro software provided by the manufacturer you can easily find, adjust and send images from your PC to the frame, wirelessly.
The wall-mountable Smartparts digital picture frame is widescreen and has a high resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, displaying 16.7 million colors. It can play videos with sound in Motion JPEG, AVI and WMA formats, and also supports SD, MS and Compact Flash memory cards, in addition to the 256MB internal memory. It brings also a remote control which you can use within 100 feet range.
Other things you can play with include PowerPoint slideshows and displaying PDF files.
Smartparts announced its availability soon in the United States, but the price was neither yet unveiled nor rumored.

The launch of the new Smartparts digital picture frame took place soon after the company released its first wireless-enabled model measuring 8 inches in diagonal, the SPX8WF.
